Westin Building Exchange data center uses recycled energy to heat the new Amazon Campus
The brainchild of Richard Stevenson, Clise Properties, in association with Amazon.com and McKinstry Mechanical Group, establish the Denny Regrade Ecodistrict. The first of its kind in the world, the Ecodistrict uses heated cooling water from the Westin Building to heat Amazon.com's new World Headquarters buildings. The cooled water from Amazon.com's buildings is then recycled back to the Westin Building to cool the Westin Building's data centers.
